How I protect your data
I take your privacy — and your child’s — extremely seriously. I never pass your details to anyone unless I have a written request from you. I use strong passwords and other standard security measures to protect the devices and accounts where your information may be stored.
What personal data are collected directly or indirectly, and why
Comments you leave on my website
When you leave a comment, I see the information you enter. If you are commenting as a parent and accidentally include your full name, I edit it out to protect your privacy.
To filter spam, an automated tool also collects your IP address and browser user‑agent string.
Embedded content from YouTube and other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos). These third-party sites behave the same way as if the visitor has visited them, so they may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with their content.
Analytics
I receive anonymous or pseudo-anonymous statistics on website traffic through third-party apps. These use cookies to analyse how visitors use the site, for instance to differentiate between new and return visitors.
How long I retain your data
I keep your data (comments, emails, or mailing‑list details) unless you ask me to remove it. You can request deletion at any time.
